ok, so my little mametchi boy john got his matchmaker visit today. the matchmaker showed me a kutchipatchi. what? i though kuchis were male characters. i clicked ok to see what would happen. and sure enough, i had a baby. ive never had 2 tamas of the same gender marry on my v3 before. 0-0 is this normal?

Tamagotchi characters had no designated genders until the v4 came along. So, two now designated female characters could be either male or female and marry each other. I always thought it strange when my male v1, v2, and v3 tamagotchis evolved into more feminine adults. I'm not sure, though, how I feel about that change.

yeah there was never any designated genders in that version, with the exception of the baby charaters, and the oldie charaters.

ah, okay i always found my boys marrying memes or violets in v3, so i guess i thought they were gender specific XD
