Tamagotchi Sky

Hi everyone! Well, a few days back, I had the idea of the Tamagotchi Sky. The Tamagotchi Sky, in my fantasy, would be like the Tamagotchi Ocean, Angel, Morino, ect. but with a sky theme, like the Tamagotchi Ocean had the ocean-like theme. If you still don't know what I mean, here is a rough skech of my idea for the Tamagotchi Sky :

Characters

All of the characters on this version would be based on birds, or other "flying" things like clouds maybe. I have yet to determine the characters, but I was thinking grabbing some characters from modern models of Tamagotchi wouldn't hurt. Much like Tarakotchi would be a horrible care adult because he's kind of like a bird, without wings.

Secret Characters

Well, again, I don't have many ideas exept that one of three secret characters should be a big, majestic bird, like that one secret character King I-Don't-Remember-His-Name or whatnot on the Devilgotchi. The main secret character for the Tamagotchi Sky would play the same role as King Someone on the Devil.

Shell Design

There would be four of those, one sky blue with clouds (SO creative <_< ), one red one with the sun on it, one translucent blue, and one translucent clear one.

Appearence/Packaging

All same as the other vintage ones: Ocean, Angel, Morino, ect.

Debugging

N/A

Nediness

Not too demanding, but not completly independant, kind of like the Tamagotchi Angel

Cost

$40-$50, I don't want it to be exacly cheap, but not unaffordable either.

Would be awesome if such a thing existed, I like birds. But I have to pretty much stick to my Tamagochans to have birds. They're like Tamas, not needy at all, and are birds.

Tamagochans are rare and hard to find. i got lucky and found two on ecrater. They copy the Tamagotchi that is sky blue with pink numbers (or was it pink with sky blue numbers?) but change the numbers around. You can see them on this page: https://www.tamenagerie.com/odd24.html

Anyway they are really cheaply made. I'm afraid of ruining them so they don't leave the house when i play with them. They're also extremely easy to care for, but take forever to evolve. I think they took 12 days to become adults....

There needs to be more bird virtual pets besides ducks and chickens.

Sorry, I'm keeping them, even though I have two. I like them too much to want to part, that's why I bought them both. But just check around online and keep your eyes peeled.

Price range varies, but I haggled for these. Got them at $19 a piece. You might pay more or less, depending on the seller.

Would the Tamagotchi Sky have a color screen?

I love birds too and really like this idea! Could another secret character maybe be... a dragonfly? I'd just love that.

Also I'd like to add one idea that wasn't originally included in the vintage tamas: Naming.

I like when you get to name your tamas not only in RL, but also on the actual toy. When a tamagotchi dies or a generation passes on, and you get a new tama, I like to be reminded of that it isn't the same as the old one who passed on, but a new(and in my fantasy also unique) tamagotchi to care for. Makes sense? Maybe not..

Sounds like a cool idea lol this reminded me of Alligator Sky that's why I clicked it in the first place

Wow, I had no idea people would acually read this! Okay, well, since the Tamagotchi Sky is based on the vintage ones, there probably shouldn't be a color screen or naming option. But I guess a vintage pet you can name is fine. But I'm gonna have to say no to the color. Thanks for the effort though.

This sounds really neat. :3 I like the idea of the bird characters and stuff. I still think the price is a little high though, for it not having a color screen. Great idea though!

I just got an idea for another secret character; maybe an angel? Either one from the existing tamagotchi angel, like Kuriten or so, but preferably a new one maybe??

Also, maybe a date setting, enabeling a few primitive seasonal animations? Or would that be too modern for a vintage maybe?

Okay, so, yes, you can set the date. Here's a seret animations section:

Secret Animations

There will be four holiday ones and one main one: Christmas, Easter, Haloween, and Valentine's day ( )

There will also be an animation at 4:07am. (A bird guarding your character as it sleeps in its nest )

Birthdays are also incuded.

you should also have an owl based tama or maybe a paper airplane

Yay! More caracter ideas. I'm saying a definate YES to the owl, but no to the paper airplane, because I kind of want the characters to be "natural", see?

Characters

Tarokotchi is the worst care possible adult, and the owl (thanks bluegreen ) will be called Hwotchi, as "hwo" means snow owl in Japanese. Hwotchi would probably be the second-best care adult ^_^ There will also be a quail character, Pecktchi. He would be third-best care adult.

Would be nice if there was a quail-like Tamagotchi. They're one of my fave birds and they make good pets.
