Sorry if this was posted in the wrong place.

Erm.. Basically, I was playing my iD L as normal, when this thing popped up on my screen when my tama woke up at 7..

So uhh... what is it? This is probably a normal thing that everyone knows about and I'm just completely clueless :(

But I really don't know what it is... And it won't go away... :eek:

 
Huh, mine disappeared a while ago. It's like a New Years cake or decoration or something. You have the correct date set? Because mine is gone...

 
I don't have the correct date set.. my date is set at June 11th.. :eek:

I wanted to see what happened on the iD L on my birthday, so I set it to June 11th... and that popped up :eek: what is going on :huh:

 
You sure you don't have the numbers for the month and day mixed? Is the date month/day or set as day/month? I have the IDL in English and my setup is month/day.

Still that's... very odd. I set it to June 11th and nothing showed up for me.

 
That is basically the New Year's decoration. It is displayed from January 1st to January 3rd. Double-check your date/time settings to be sure. I believe that the iD L date setting is MM/DD.

If you have set the date to June 11th, it should be 6/11 and if you have set it to your birthday, you should see a birthday table with a Happy Birthday banner in the living room. You might have also set your birthday incorrectly as 11/6 (November 6th) instead of 6/11 (June 11th).

wait a minute... you set it to your Birthday? its probably a Birthday Cake decoration :D

which is why no one else could get anything on the same day

I did not see that birthday part, derp lol. Yeah it's a holiday/special occasion.... cake... thing. I guess.

 
I repeat... that is the New Year's Day decoration, displayed from January 1st to January 3rd.

i see your point, im not very experienced with IDL and the like as i do not own one (yet)

so i was going off theory.
