Ok so I was having my piano lesson and came back to find my tamagotchi family were ninjas how do I get them to change back and the parent are ninjas too help please please please how do I change them back

To change your ninjas back to regular characters, you will need to feed them a steamed bun (oval shaped snack with a heart in the middle) or use the whistle item.
In the linked topic, it also links to a list of passwords. You can use these passwords to get the items for free (under the heart icon, where it says, "special")

I'm not sure, since I've never had a neglected family on a second generation or higher. But I suppose the parents can't change back. I guess you'll have to wait for the next generation to lose the ninja parents.
Correct me if I'm wrong though. Because I very likely am.

No you are correct . When you get a bad care family eg: Ninja Family, you are able to change the characters back to normal, but sadly the parents remain the same. You will have to wait till next generation. I have had this experience before as well

Also for future refrence, to change the large family back to normal, use the mirror item, or the "low fat biscuit"
to get the Petit family back to normal use a magnifying glass.
