Hello, all!

I've recently been looking into some non-Tamagotchi virtual pets, but there are some that are relatively unknown. Are there any odd pets that anyone would recommend? I'm mostly looking for those with cute characters and decent gameplay. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and I already have the Yuki Penguin and Giga Pets Pound.

*edit*: I was also quite curious about the Nano Puppy Family pets. What are the graphics like? How exactly do they work? Is the mating function similar to how the Mesu/Osu pets run?

Gyaoppis are awesome odd pets



I'd also say that MGA pets are pretty great (especially dino and godzilla) but some people don't really care for them. Hitorikkos are good as well but kind of simple. If I were you and just getting into odd pets I would start with the gyaoppi. You don't have to necessarily get the 9-in-1. They sell them individually as well like the gyaoppi dino etc...

I've been looking at the Super Gyaoppis, but they're just so pricey on eBay... I like them 'cause of all of the different characters you can choose, but I guess I'll have to wait to find a good deal...

It's one of the MGA Dinos. I watched your review on it, and the dino characters look to be really cute. Would you say it's one of the better dino pets? I was also looking at the Lost World pets, and I'm not sure which one is better in terms of cute characters and game play.

The Penpy Penguin pet is another one I've looked at, and while the characters look to be quite cute, I'm not sure if it'll keep me interested.

Sigh... Doing research on odd pets is proving to be a lot harder than researching Tamas, as there seem to be so many clones out there that it's pretty hard sifting through them all. :/

I have a few odd pets I'll be selling hopefully soon. But personally I like the MGA pets, the Dinkies, and the Hitorikkos I think the most. I'm also kinda liking the My Duck, I have a blue and green one, but will be selling a white and pink one. I also really like my Tamagochans.

Also, i have two of those MGA Dinos I want to put up for sale, (what you linked) but be careful, towards the end the Dino guts were swapped for Godzilla guts for some unknown reason. I bought from them and that's what happened to me, and again from someone else. There's even Godzilla instructions with the Dino, so more than likely it was done on purpose. Real bummer as I want the true dino, so now I have two Godzilla pets here I don't want, and they're brand new. To see the Godzilla one, see her video review of the Godzilla pet, the ones that's officially licensed.

Oh, the Pocket Pikachu is pretty okay, and the Digimon are awesome, like the original vpets and the pedometers.
