Hearing the L.i.f.e. webisodes pronounce it "Tamagatchi" makes me cringe
I think that's just a strong American accent. In some parts of America, people say "o" as more like "a".

"Tamagoci/tamagoczi" is the way to write "tamagotchi" phonetically in my language.

if Rayman were to say it in Rayman 2, he'd say it like this: "Tah-mah-goh-chee", since he speaks in gibberish, or whatever language he speaks.

Yeah, I pronounce it like you do, but it seems more people would pronounce it like Rayman would.I pronounce it as "Ta-mah-gaw-chee", which is mostly the proper way of saying it.

But, I wouldn't even pronounce it like of how Globox would even say it. It depends where they came from, and what they speak in. I pronounce it properly, but Rayman and Globox would say it differently if "Tamagotchi" was actually mentioned in Rayman 2/Rayman 3D.
