Ive had my tama character for 7 days now trying to catch the donut lady to get donuts for his last puzzle piece... and the one time i caught her outside she only sold me a burger....when does she come, how do i get the donuts??? plss help.

Yes, Cafe Mama carries a mobile food cart every afternoon to your yard - provided that the weather is friendly (not raining or snowing).Cafe Mama comes outside at 12 PM.
When she presents you a menu, press A to scroll through it. She's selling quite a lot of interesting edibles.
TIP: When you're presented with a menu screen, always check the lower-right corner of the screen. If you see a small green arrow, it means it is scrollable and there are more items to be seen.
