Megatchi is a girl?

the v3 has both genders for each charater so kuchipatchi can be a boy AND a girl and memetchi can be a boy

This is why the V3 scares me sometimes. I had a boy Memetchi, a boy Violetchi, a girl Megatchi (most hideous character), and a girl Kuchipatchi. It always seems a bit odd.

Until the V4 and onwards, you could take care of adult Tamas of any gender. This feature has been taken away since the V4 was released, however, so that's the only drawback of the V4 and other versions that came after the V4.

This is all news to me! Haha I think it's a little weird that the v3 has both genders for each charater. Megatchi deff looks like a boy character!

On v3's you get characters that can be any gender... It's kinda strange XD

Funny, I have a girl megatchi on my v3 now too.

To be honest I liked when all characters could be any gender, because gender roles are awful. Just because a character looks like a girl doesn't mean it has to be a girl, and vice versa. The v3 times was when the whole tamagotchi plot wasn't all that important. (at least I guess so, japanese didn't have the v3, they had keitai, and keitai still has the vintage mametchi on it, meaning they didn't have the anime in plants even yet.)
