I don't have a smart phone or tablet. Even if I did I'm not really interested in a Tamagotchi phone app. I prefer the regular egg shaped devices. An app just isn't the same.

Ohh I'm excited, even if only just for curiosity's sake! I don't think anything could ever beat having an actual tama, but we will see. Definitely have to download on thursday. :-)

I HOPE this isn't the "exciting new product" that was going to be released... I would be so disappointed, I WANT A REAL TAMAGOTCHI AND NOT EVERYONE HAS DODGY TABLETS AND SMARTPHONES! All I have are headache tablets. =_=

Well, I can't say the app looks particularly appealing to me although I guess being a 14 year old girl with a smart phone makes me the target audience and I know my friends definitely won't be interested in it! But as it's free I guess I'll be giving it the benefit of the doubt and giving it a try anyway - I'm a sucker for free stuff

I'll get it. My original Tamagotchi has a messed up screw so I have a heck of a time opening it. Doesn't hurt that they added features and color!

It's available early, at least in some regions it seems. You'll have to search for it on the Google Play store to find it, though. I could download it from Massachusetts, so I'm guessing it's available for everyone in the United States.
