Hi, I heard that if you have an oldie on v4, and it is about to die, if you use the pen or pencil (i cant remember! 
) It will draw an egg and start a new generation. Is this true?

Draw? o.o I think you mean when a tamagotchi is dying, you hit reset quickly and download again. It doesn't draw a new egg.

No I think she means when you use the pencil item.

You can't access the item box if your character is near death.

This is indeed a myth, its not possible, and doesn't even sound right.
as well i can't find anything stating it being true.
