my v4.5 has a major glitch, no matter how well i take care of it, no matter what gender it is, it always turns in to the duck(here it is- :tarakotchi: ) when its an adult (no offense to those who like the duck dude, but after 11 generations of duck man he gets kinda annoying) is there anyway to fix this glitch, ive tried reseting it and changing the battery, but its my fave tama and im willing to do anything (well maybe not) to save it :)

Are you sure you have a v4.5? Tarakotchi ( :tarakotchi: ) is not on the v4.5 version... maybe you're talking about a v4? The v4 has evolutions that differ on how many skill points you have, same for the v4.5. Here's the v4 growth chart: https://tamagotchi.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Doctor_Box/My_V4_Growth_Chart, and the v4.5 growth chart: https://tamagotchi-time.weebly.com/tamagotchi-evolution-charts.html scroll down to see the v4.5 chart. I suggest you raise different life points, I believe Tarakotchi is "Beauty" for the Kuchi Family.

+1

Maybe you alays play the same game so it always gets the same skill points and evolve the same way everytime ?

I bet that is annoying. Variety is the spice of life as Kat would say, :)

Have you tried playing different games, even the ones that your not too found of? I found that I could not get Mimitchi on my V4 until I started to play different games because the skills that you get from playing the games, determin what character you will obtain :)

i like every game, but unfortunatly me tama is currently lost, will find and take pic once i raised it to an adult again, dont be alarmed by the fact tht i have to use a screwdriver for the 'a' button as it fell out........

You should try playin just one game with it over and over to see if that has any effect on what character you will end up with. I suppose anything is worth a try! It gets boring having the same character over and over!

To add...

To tell what version you have (if you're in doubt), check the antenna. If there is a star on the end of the antenna, you have a v4.5. If you have a ball on the end of the antenna, you have a V4 (except in extenuating circumstances described here, but I doubt that's the case for you).

If the antenna has nothing on the end, you have a V3. If there is no antenna, you have a V1 or V2.

If you have a v1, v2, or v3, this is not a glitch, but rather an issue in how you care for it.

It may also be possible that your Tamagotchi has been "debugged." For more information on debugging and how to un-debug, visit: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/97626-how-do-i-undebug-my-tamagotchi-v4/ and https://www.tamatalk.com/pixelmood/tamagotchi_connection_debugging.htm

Please post pictures of your Tamagotchi if possible.

but yeah, that's weird how you keep getting him. try taking care of him a bit differently

This happens to me also on my v3, but sort of different. I get Pyonkotchi and Decotchi ONLY no matter how I care for it. =_= It's really annoying, because I don't especially like either of those characters. I also bought the tamagotchi used, so it may be debugged, but I hope not. This has been going on for 5 generations now.
