it looks like a really bad fake
it has the keychain hole right between the awkward connection sensor and antenna.

Hmm it does say in the listing that it's "Not Bandai" but I agree they shouldn't be calling it a tamagotchi. Maybe the seller is unaware that tamagotchi is a brand name and thinks it applies to all virtual pets? Either that or they're being deliberately misleading.

The packaging does say Tamagotchi so the seller must just be confused.

Reviews of it. ^ The shells says Tamagotchi but it's just a general multi pet.
