So I had forgotten about my tamagotchi for a couple hours and i came back and fed it etc. I had got my 4th happy symbol but theres an item on my screen. It's two Chinese people I guess sitting in this thing that is red and yellow which reminds me sorta of like a stage? Does anyone know what this is? Or why its here? Maybe its because my date is set 2 days from now on March 1st is it just decoration or..?

It's an ornament; it will be shown on the first few days of March to commemorate Japan's Doll Festival (Hina Matsuri).
This is similar to the Halloween pumpkin and the Christmas trees during their respective months.
