I know I've already posted several topics similar to this and in the end I decided to buy a v3 which I LOVE so thanks for helping me decide on that one! But now I want a tama for my v3 to connect with and I figured I may as well get a different version that I don't already have. I remember having a v4 when I was younger but I've heard a lot of people reccommending the v4.5. So which do you prefer/think I should buy (and if you have time why)? Thanks!

How about v4.5? In few words, you have two tamas in one!! Everything a Tamagotchi v4 does PLUS new stuff!

New and exciting characters, new enjoyable jobs, new amusing games... Anything you could imagine! They also have extremely beautiful shells under my opinion!!! Think about it! xi xi xi hope I helped...

Thanks guys! I still couldn't decide so I just went on ebay and brought the one with the prettiest shell which happened to be a v4... I still think I may buy a v4.5 as well later though lol.

Yes, I have a V4.5 and I love it. The new characters as well as some brought back, new games, new features, etc. It's all really nice and I enjoy it a lot. It's also very easy to maintain and keep alive if you have a busy schedule, etc. The tamas stay alive and don't die easily, making it better for those with school, after-school activities, and more that has them not watching it 24/7 but still checking up on it. Sadly, I've accidently left mine at home for school unpaused on accident a few times, and they survive. I recommend it, but it's your choice ^^

Normally I would lean to a V4 as I don't have a 4.5. However, on top of special characters and other stuff the V4.5 sorts out a lot of glitches and problems with the V4. I do know though, you won't regret whichever one you get!
