I'm about to purchase an adapter for my 15th anniv iD L and I'm wondering if I can use the same one for a P. Also, can I download things for iD L on my 15th too?

The adapter will work with both the iD L and the P's, because both use IR. You can download iD L items on a 15th Anniversary. And yes, that adapter will work as long as you use a compatible OS (this one will not work with Macs).

Check your device if it contains compatible drivers. Most of them ship with driver discs and displays the list of compatible operating systems.
