Hey, this might be a silly question, but I don't really feel like buying 4 tamagotchi p's in order to get the connection characters. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if I would be able to do it with just two p's? Even if I can just reset one of them 4 different times and take the batteries out of the other one while I wait for them to grow - would that work?

Yes. Resetting the Tama registers it as a new one
