It's been change to this background ...

What does it mean?

Should I do something special to my Tamagotchi?

 
This means there is a birthday for one of the characters, you can see the animation at 7:30 12:00 and 3:30 I believe, you can find all the birthdays on tamazone I can give a link if that would help
