Has anyone played with this one? Does the pets evolve?

I've seen loads of that packaging on eBay, but not that shell. Looks very cheaply made to me, I would avoid it.

I looked it up for you on the German amazon page and I've read through the very few ratings.
Everybody actually disliked it. One person said it is not actually from Germany nor from Japan like original Tamas are, these are made in China. The plastic is supposed to smell horribly so she wouldn't recommend giving it to kids 'cause she thinks they could have used odd chemicals. There were problems with the display like kinda bubbles under a foil and she discribed that there is a stripe that won't go away. Instructions were all in spanish (someone didn't even get one). Interesting thing is that the reset button is in the between the other buttons... not very smart, right?
Those things cost 6€ on amazon here (wich is like 8$).
I never tried it. I never will after what I've just read.

But there was one person who rated 5 [edit: 4... sry :D ] stars and actually liked it. I guess he never had a decent Tamagotchi. :D

PS:
I was referring to these pages:
Amazon Germany 1

Amazon Germany 2

Hope that was another help to NOT buy this cheap thing.

I have never tried or heard of it before but I think that they are trying to copy Tamagotchi because of the planet on the top right looks very familier to me. (Tamagotchi Planet!)

Indeed it has earth and tamaplanet just like tamagotchis and it looks really attractive from outside to me but with what I just heard...To be honest the plastic cover of the toy looks really cheapy and I never buy electronic games like [ wow! 50 in 1/ or... try it! 49 in 1!]

I don't even want to comment about the lanyard. But it could look attactive to anyone who hasn't actually bought it and doesn't know tamagotchis or anything about this thing...

Thanks, seems I dodged a bullet there. =) I get really curious about odd pets, but as they say: curiosity killed the rabbit :p
