Hi! :) I have a question

I have a tamagotchi v5 and the 'square' in the screw is getting 'round', so I need a new screw before it's too 'round' to unscrew it, which screw can i use for this?

Thank you in advance :)

Yeah, either that, or bring the screw itself to a hardware store (like Home Depot) and ask them if they have it or if they know where to get it.

Yeah, I tried to use a screw from another tamagotchi, but there was a kind of round label on the screw, so I couldn't switch the screws

Yes, i know that topic, but i actually want to change the screw

Maybe I could go to a watch store to get a better screw? any ideas?

I think you should probably go to the watch store or something of that sort. They most likely have tools to help get the screws out without further damage.

but the actual problem is that i need a new screw, but just underneath the screw (under the "lid" which you use to close the batery thing of your tama) there's a round label aound the screw and i can't get it off :(

Is this what you're talking about?

If so, on mine it looks like you could peel it off with a fingernail. Perhaps something very thin, like a nail file or the edge of a flathead screw driver? It does hold the screw pretty tightly, but you should be able to pry it off.

YES!!!THAT'S WHAT I MEAN!!!THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i tried with a screwdriver and it didn't work D:

Hmm. I'm not sure what else you could try. I was able to gently lift the very edge of the one on mine with just my thumbnail, but I don't want to pry it off all the way myself, so I'm not sure how much pressure you'd need to apply to it to peel it off permanently. Sorry I can't be of further help. Good luck with it!

lol, i pull my fingernails, so they're not long enough, i do have fingernails, but they're not long enough xd

Oh! Sorry I was a little confused. Hmm maybe you could use sandpaper to get rid of it? Not sure if that'll work, but it's worth a try.

I don't know, i don't even know if we have sandpaper xd

Maybe an emery board? (nail file) It's kind of similar to sand paper right? That might work depending on how soft the screw is.
