music star mating question

Hi! I have a question

I'm getting a music star soon, and there's something i'm wondering about:

I saw in a guide on the internet that when you mate by the matchmaker, that you will get a girl and that if you mate with a band member, that you get a boy, when you mate with a v5/ v5.5 that you get a girl and when you mate with another music star that you get a boy.

Is is true that every kind of mating only has one gender as baby? I mean like: do you always get a girl when you mate by the matchmaker? and do you always get a boy when mating with a band member?

Or is is that every kind of mating can have both genders for the baby? I mean like: Can you get a boy and a girl by mating with the matchmaker? can you get a boy and a girl by mating with a band member?

with my music star, i've tried all of those different types of mating and all of them have just made baby boys!
i think way your tama has its baby doesn't impact if the baby will be a boy or a girl.

feel free to correct me if i'm mistaken, but i think on most, if not all the different tamagotchi versions the gender of the baby will always be random.
the music star is the same!

I find this to be rather false based on my experience. its more of a random 50-50 draw between genders.

Yes, I've had my V6 ran for a while and the gender is completely random.

But I read that you can get makiko in an even generation, so to get makiko you need to be in an even generation and your tamagotchi needs to be a girl, does it take long to get a specific gender in a specific type of generation? (odd or even)

The length to get a gender is also random.
