What's your favorite way of carrying your tamagotchis when you go about your daily lives? at the moment I keep mine in my pockets. I'm thinking of making some kind of carrier for them.

I usually carry a Furby with me in a small bag. The bag is big enough to also fit my two Tamagos and my Zhu Zhu Pet, Spike. My third Tamagotchi, Grimlock is worn on a cord around my neck.

i currently have 2 running. for the 2 i took the chains and large key ring off but left that one tiny ringlet, so i can put them on a small key ring together, or have them apart. I like keeping them in my pockets, but also have screen protectors on them. I don't mind the shell and design getting scratched, but the screen? I'd like to try other ways, no lanyard though.

it would be cool to make a carrier..

My iD L/P's make a huge bulge on my pants when inside the pocket (and gave my iD L a couple of scratches) so I just carry them by hand!

I'm pretty fortunate lately because it's winter, I can put them on the inside pocket of my jackets. But when the temperatures warm up, looks like I'll be hand-carrying them again. Looking to buy a strap, but Bandai's designs are way too girly for my liking. -_-

I generally keep them in my pockets, but I also have a bunch of lanyards. I made a small pouch for the v3 I'm currently using, though, since I'm using it long term. But then the pouch goes into my pocket.

I carry one on a super long ball chain around my neck, and if it's an expensive Tama I make a crochet cover with this clear plastic material sewn on to cover and protect the whole front. If I'm running more than one I carry the second one in this little bear pouch that I either carry by hand or put in my purse.

Actually I would love a pattern! I've been free handing it and it's kind of annoying lol

I carry my v3 about in an old phone sock. I might actually learn to knit or something so I can make him a proper cover though.

I am overprotective with my tamas, and obsessed with the condition of the shell and the screen. So i'm running an IDL right know and my v4.5. I put them into their own pouch all day long. I mean, they just NEVER get out of it, except to feed them/ play with them. Poor things, they never get to see the sunlight. XD

I thought I should post pictures of the cover I have for my P's so you can see what I meant by the plastic cover

The plastic is sewn to the front of the crochet cover and the cover has an opening in the back that closes with a button which is used for getting the tama in and out of the cover. I also cut out a rectangle hole in the plastic so that I can change out any pierces without taking it out. I just wanted to feel like my tama was %100 protected %100 of the time haha

I'd sell these but my crochet isn't all that good and my sewing skills are even worse lol

I have my iD L in a crochted cover as well, and my others have no covers. I usually carry them in my pockets, hands, or a bag. I only carry them around in my hands or pockets at home.

Tip if any of you want to make a nice fitting cover that is not bulky: use a 2.75mm crochet hook and superfine yarn (yarn weight symbol 1). This way you can follow the pattern Calyssa from Gotchiworld has come up with and achieve very good results.

I tried to imitate her style but I just can't seem to do it.... -_- that's why I came up with my own pattern! :D Because if you want to get Calyssa's pattern you have to pay her $4.00 :( And I'm from Asia. Can't have that kind of money only wons. XD

Crochet... Can anyone make me one if they accept money orders ( I send the money)

Jokus actually crocheted me a cute little pouch for my tama-go. I love it and it was a good price too. Maybe you guys could contact her? and for my other tamas I just put the in a clean sock or something. ^_^

I rarely used my tamas outside, but used to take them to my grandparents house and other places. I never really needed a case, I've always been protective of my stuff. I would carry them in my pocket of my jeans.

I have 5 and none if them are ruined. My v2 has a bit of wear but they could be sold as good or mint condition.

I'm a bit over protective with anything I love...

So I do everything to keep my tamas perfect!

I made them a paper bench so they will stand properly on my desk and when I don't carry them with me, I have something like a special box with small drawers, and I keep them all in two in every drawer. It's cute!

When I carry them, well, I have them on lanyards and small soft pouches!!! :D

I keep my iD L in a pouch, but it has a lanyard on it in case I want to have it around my neck, my music star is attached to the keyring thing on the pouch I keep my iD L on.

I'll be keeping my P's in this kawaii lil thang.

Speaking of girly looking straps -- I just bought one that was super girly, but I expected it would be and since I am a girl it doesn't look odd that I have it...I'm just not overly fond of girly-looking things.

Anyway, I was browsing CDJapan today and ran across this one! It appears to be non-girly, but I can't really tell what it looks like close up... It's tempting, though!

*Edited because I'm silly and didn't notice it isn't available anymore. Perhaps ebay!
