Married already?!

I'm so confused! My tamagotchi p's is married already. Here's how it happened: I took my Riatotchi to the park earlier today. He met Warutsutchi and they had a conversation. Later on I took it to the park again, he saw her again, and she asked him something in Japanese. (I don't speak Japanese so I have no idea what she said, and I didn't have my camera with me.) I accepted and the went to the beach and played a little bit. I brought him to the park a final time and he saw her again. She asked him something and I accepted, thinking they were going to the beach again. Then they sat on a park bench and kissed! Afterwards they walked to a wedding chapel (I think?) and kissed again. Fireworks displayed, they had a baby girl, and my Riatotchi left... I'm so confused, I've only had Riatotchi for a couple hours, and he only had one puzzle piece. So what happened? Is this a glitch or is it normal? Thanks, and sorry I wrote such a long paragraph. :/

You just accepted the wedding proposal.

Consecutive dating in the park with the same character will prompt you if you'd like to marry the character.

But I thought you had to have all the puzzle pieces to become married?

Nope, you can marry them off as soon as they become adults. Puzzle Pieces are just for unlocking new stuff.

Similar to the iD L, new destinations (door icon) unlock for new Tamatomo characters. For each character to be a Tamatomo (Tama-friend), all four puzzle pieces have to be collected.
