Ok so my v5 takes CR2032 batterys like any tamagotchi except p1 and p2 I put in a CR2025 battery and it works and nothings wrong with it

aren't those the flatter ones??

i think i've done that before as well, but the battery wouldn't hold all the way in it's holder since it was too small.

i can't remember how i solved that issue, i might of used a coin..because that's safe lol

It does work, but if it becomes loose, you can lose your data. I spoke with Jay about the penny. Copper conducts well, yes, but foam WONT conduct and lessens your chances of getting a shock. Thats why they say use cr2032, not cr2025 because kids have been known to put in random things that fit... In this case, the penny. Also, it can corroad your battery faster or conduct with the coin/penny in a not good way.

So if you are putting something in with it, use foam. (art foam is best)

Yes, it may fit but it is better to use the "recommended" model. Besides, the CR2025 is smaller in capacity as compared to CR2032 and may cause your device to glitch or worse, a short-circuit... rendering your device completely unusable.
