Which process is more safer, selling or trading,........ tamagotchi's? In terms of confidentiality and personal info when dealing with Paypal?

I think buying and selling is always safer. Trading is harder to do mostly because one or both items can get lost, or someone can get the item, then nope hold up their end of the deal and refuse to send their half of the trade. I've heard of it happening before, awful stuff.

yes I am aware of one receives, but the other doesn't get anything, but im referring to in terms of confidentiality..like giving out info to Paypal. Which one is safer? selling or trading?

Aren't they pretty much the same since you'll be transferring information the same way?

yeah I kinda have a feeling that they are the same, but which one is riskier? hehe

Trading is riskier as you may not receive your item from the other end of a trade, I have had it happen to myself, and was really disappointed :(

I think of the same thing as well - as opposed to buying, you can always file a claim on PayPal if something goes wrong.

I did a trade before but it was with someone I already know.

Trading is definitely riskier. I'd suggest not doing a trade with someone you don't atleast know a little. PayPal at least offers the Buyer's Protection which guarantees your safety. Can't really do that with trades unfortunately. My own personal rule of thumb: don't trade with a complete stranger.

Ra,

But I have to do something about my issue. So much for being an American, cant speak Japanese.
