Tamagotchi P Gotchi Reform shop question

My Tama P came in the mail yesterday and I've been slowly figuring out how everything works, but I went to the Gotchi Reform shop (the place that sells wallpaper and such) and bought the cheapest thing they had just to test it out. It worked fine, but I wanted to change back to the default so did, but does the wallpaper need to be bought each time you want to use it? I was hoping you could buy all the wallpapers and switch between them without any cost but that doesn't seem to be the case, or did I do something wrong? I know it's free to switch back to the default one, but it's such a pain having to buy each of them over again since you can't get a full preview of it. I might be completely off on that since I just got it yesterday, though

And since I'm on the topic of customizing, how do you change the "banner" on it? I read somewhere that you have to get to the 15th generation to be able to change it, but I'm not sure if that was for the iD L or not. I have a iD L being shipped out soon anyway, guess I'll find out one way or another Will I be able to connect them together or no?

As for the "banners", they will be automatically unlocked - I forgot which generations, the one I could remember was the one that unlocks at the 8th and 25th. These have to be "unique" Tamatomos (similar to the iD L).

Thank you for the super quick response! Is there any way you can preview the different wallpapers? Or a thread that shows them all off? I've been looking around for one, but can't seem to find anything on it, really wish you could only buy them once :/

You can change the icon background by going to the status screen (with her hungry and happy bar) and it should be the 5th screen. At least it is for me, though you don't have it if you only have one, I think.

But I wish we could preview and buy the backgrounds, too. A bit annoying.. I don't want to pay 5000 points to see how it looks only to pay more points for another one because I don't like how it turns out or something.

It's very annoying I think I'm going to (eventually) buy them all anyway just to get a sense of which I like, I'll try to remember to take pictures of each one as I go along for personal reference. If I do happen to get them all unlocked with pictures, I'll post them on the forum if it hasn't been done already. Maybe it'll help people?

I have pictures of the space wallpapers for the whole house on my log, gonna look for them and put them up in here, too. I think I have a few others.. not too sure. I'd definitely help and post pictures when I decide to change the wallpaper again.

Bit of a silly question- what order do the rooms go in for the Gotchi Reform store? I've only bought new wallpaper for the living room so far (have a longgg way to go lol!), but I'm still figuring out all the features of it since I just got it the other day. At least knowing the rooms will help organize the pictures xD

Thanks for the previews! Sorry to reply to this topic when it's been 2 months since anyone did, but when your house goes brown, does that mean you HAVE to get a reform? Because I did not know that and now I have no money xDD.

Edit: Never mind, just found that the cleaning items actually have a use . Hahaha!

sorry but what do you mean by "unique" tamatomos?

For each character you get, you'll have to collect four puzzle pieces for them by trying to find out their favourite items. Once you complete the four pieces, your character will be on "Tamatomo" (Tama-friend) status.

Unique Tamatomos means no repeat characters.

To find out which Tamatomo characters you have, you can look them up under the notebook icon.
