So I was looking at the growth hart and I'm just really confused about it. Will someone please explain it better to me?

 
What is so confusing about it? It looks like all the other growth charts, I'd say.

Pretty much this. It has a limited character roster but if you are neglectful, you could theoretically make them regress several times causing you to have repeats. They grow up with time and give you different characters depending on care like most Tamagotchis.
