If you want them to grow faster, yes. When you pause, it stops the growth until you unpause them again. Just don't forget you switched the time or you might have an unhappy tama next time you check it.

Personaly I like to put them to bed when I'm busy. But if I'm not going to play with the tama for a little while, I like to pause them. Hope I helped! ^_^

i usually only make them sleep.

 

Little advice, putting your question in the Larger box. while leaving the title a bit more short and sweet.

I usually put mine to sleep if I'll be gone all day or at school, but if it's a short time, just pause them. It won't affect their growth too much.
