I had a lot of favourite toys as a young child...I played with soft toy sea animals from ages 0 to 11, Lego-like toys from ages 7 to 11, plastic dinosaurs from ages 3 to 11 and Tamas from ages 5 to 12. I know, it took me a long time to grow out of stuff, but there's no harm in that.

I love the way you talk about you parents ^^ so cute !

My best childhood toys were tamagotchis of course. And i was into video games very early. So my game boy I guess.

My Pet Monster, a huge plush blue monster. It had orange handcuffs that broke in the middle and could be put back together so you could pretend you or the monster were breaking free. It was also nowhere near as good as Tamagotchi. You 90's kids had it lucky. Your cartoons were better than ours too.

Well I remember loving Tamagotchis a lot but, there was this other virtual pet I liked a lot too. I think it was called My Meebas. You would care for it and make it grow till it was a full grown adult. The a small plush would come out of the top. I remember one time I thought I had done everything I needed to do to make the stuffed animal come out. But it wasn't coming out so I thought it was defective. So I had my dad pry the top open with a flat head screwdriver. Then I kept playing with the toy and found the last thing I needed to do. The music started playing and the lid opened. Good thing I had two because I raised the other one right. :D

Oh gosh... It was those magnetic drawing pads where it had a pencil with a magnet in it, and it acted exactly like a pencil, and to erase the stuff from the pad you could just use a lever that was at the bottom of where you would draw. People who were born in the 90's would probably know what this is cause I was born in 1998... ^ ^;

From what I remember I didn't really draw anything with it, I just scribbled while I watched PBS Kids and Treehouse all day lol

Yup, I had those. I always tried to draw things on it and was a really bad artist. My mom was able to draw on mine though (she's an actual artist though). Some of mine even came with dry erase markers so you could color on it too.

I had a whole bunch of them cause they broke all the time. And I was born in 1998. ^_^

I just remembered Sit and Spin. It was this plastic flat circle with a steering wheel poking out of the top. You sat on it and turned the wheel and the faster you'd turn the wheel the faster it would go. I broke so many of those things because I'd get it going too fast and the wheel would pop out. I'd never get dizzy. They'd break and the next Christmas there would be a brand new one under the tree.

Gosh... childhood toys......

Okay well the 1997 furby's i remember being sick when my mom picked up two (1 for me and 1 for the brother) I picked out a white one and i remember them both sneezing all the time because i was!

UMMM coco and Hope, two teddy bears that Santa brought I still have them and they are as soft as ever, those two never left my house and i had to take turns which on I snuggled at night.

Ummm I guess like every normal child who grew up in the 90's, the best toy i had for a very long time was called "outside" and my imagination was a very fun toy.

There is also Lego who doesnt love lego? my brothers hot wheels cars,

I met pokemon cards at the age of 5, still have that collection, and the gameboy came around 8 or 9 and then it was a gameboy colour and it had one game pokemon gold (I now have heartgold on the DS for the nostalgia)

And well my tamagotchis I bought the first one i ever had it was a V1 pink shelled one i covered it in stickers, and after that I have no idea, but my mom did get one of the best friends for ever packs (so the brother and I each could have one) and It was the paint one and I got the peachy one because my brother thought it looked girly.

My Little Pony. I missed G1, but I'm now a pony collector and have over 200, many of which have cost over £100.
