anyone have a tama ocean? i swear i took perfect care of it and it still died before reaching adult stage.

Yep, the Oceans do that!
Kind of like real fish if you think about it...
But yeah, I'm sure you didn't do any thing wrong.
I think it might have to do with how many times it gets attacked. That might affect a death parameter and make it a little more likely to suddenly die

they no longer make tamagotchi oceans, i bought mine from a seller on ebay. in fact, all of the cool ones are no longer made... but who knows, because the connection and plus have been released, maybe there will be all new ones coming out.

i have a tamagotchi ocean, they are so difficult to take care of. i got mine off of e-bay (jestys emporium)

i have an american one and i read that if you don't give it snacks it'll make it to adulthood. i was going to try this method but it got toooo demanding! i also heard pausing it was bad and it'll die sooner. that's dumb because me and everyother kid who has one has to pause it at skool!
