Dear Diary,
My name is Violetchi. My psychologist recommended for me to keep a log in this diary to release my thoughts and feelings. I'm only 14 years old, and I have seen some stuff that no kid could ever put up with for as long as I have. Ever since I was a young tama, I've been able to see things that no one else could. Mysterious shadows lurk in every corner.
I was able to put up with it until I was 11 years of age, when it happened. I was walking home from school with Mametchi. We were walking up one of the alleys towards my house when one of my shadows appeared. I thought nothing of it, for I thought they were harmless. I looked up for a second at one of the flower boxes in the window and looked back to see the shadow sucking the soul out of Mametchi's struggling body. I stared at him, helpless, as the shadow leeched his life away. After a minute Mametchi stopped his squirming, staring unblinking up at the sky. As the last signs of life drained from his body, the shadow disappeared.
I walked over to Mametchi's corpse and picked it up. Tears streamed down my face as I walked into sight of Mametchi's heartbroken parents.
