Mametchi ran to his closet, grabbed his trench coat and cap, and swiftly threw them on. Then, he flew down the stairs and into the kitchen. He snatched up his backpack and whipped over to the fridge. He threw bottles of milk into the bag and many wrapped up loaves of Anpan bread. He also threw in a box of assorted donuts for his companion, (or maybe she is more than that?) Pero. He then grabbed his emergency kit and and some sleeping bags an stuffed them into the bag. He zipped it up, threw it onto his back, and ran out the door to his car.
Pero immediately knew who it was, for he was the only person she ever told to never ring the door bell. She She sprinted to the door and flung it open.
"Anpan!" She cried swishing him to death in her bear hug.
"Can't breathe!" An pan wheezed, then passed out.
"Opps!" giggled Pero, as she grabbed the bucket of ice water she kept on the porch just for this occasion.
Anpan coughed a few times then he sat up. He smiled weakley weakening Pero as he laughed half-heartedly.
Pero noticed his face. "What's wrong?" she asked, gazing at Anpan with concern.
He sighed, "Chama is dead."

Pero sat bored as she flicked through the channels on her TV. It was the weekend, and she had absolutely nothing to do. She couldn't find anything to watch on TV, so she leaned back on the couch and started to daydream.
