Do you like the new LCD screen eyes or the original plastic eyes best? For me I prefer the LCD eyes. I know they look fake but I think that's the main reason why I prefer them. Normal Furby eyes are too realistic and it scares me. Also, LCD eyes can change into more expressions and they remind me of Tamagotchis. But that's just me; share your opinions here!

My Furby from when I was little had the plastic eyes. I like it better because it reminds me of my childhood and when Furby still was some kind of pet animal to me. The Furby from nowadays seems more of a talking companion in my opinion which scares me a bit.
Also; the old Furby was quite polite, the new one burps and makes loud eating noises which is not really my thing.

The LCD eyes allow them to be more expressive. They also make them look less organic and more like the electronic/mechanical creatures they are. I like that.

I prefer the LCD eyes. They're more expressive, giving the Furbies more character. It's also rather fun to see what new expression will be revealed with the different personalities, like fire, chickens, and I believe cows being shown in the eyes. While the First Furbies had "real" eyes, they just seemed to be stuck in one expression while the 2012 Furbies can change.

the LCD eyes scare the poop out of me, and to be honest they kind of ruin furby for me. I have two of the originals and love them to pieces. They looked more natural and are less scary looking and less like evil robots that are going to take over the world on my sleep

Originals. Because colors. All the beautiful colorful eyes. You don't get that with LCD....

^ I get what you mean... but wouldn't it be cool if they had color screen eyes like iD L and P's?

Give it time. Eventually they may have color screen eyes.

I liked the LCD eyes as well - not only they make them look modern (and at the very least, robotic), they are expressive (like everybody said ) and the backlight gives it life.
