That's atleast what it used to be ok with the old versions back in the day:
Baby- 1-10 lbs
Child- 10-20 lbs
Teenager- 20-30
Adult- 30-35
Try to keep your Tamagotchi at a consistent weight. When it is an adult, it's best at 30 or 35 pounds. If it's overweight, play games, and if it's underweight, feed it.
Basically try and keep your tamagotchi the lowest weight possible.

If your Tamar's weight won't decrease no matter how many games you play than your tama is at it's base weight and that is a healthy weight for it

Since the weight won't go down any more that means it is the ideal weight. Just keep on playing games with it and continue keepng your tama healthy.
