Has anyone noticed how tamagotchis names actually mean something? I have noticed a lot of tamagotchis names:

Ringotchi: Appletchi

Ichigotchi: Strawberrytchi

Nandetchi: Whytchi

Raitotchi: Lighttchi

Kujiratchi: Whaletchi

Pinkubotchi: Pinktchi

Aokumotchi: Bluetchi

Jurietchi: Jewelrytchi

(I may be wrong about some of these, Gomenasai in advance.)

Anyone have any other names they've noticed?

 
Yeah, just about ALL Tamagotchi characters have names that mean something in Japanese. (By the way, Aokumatchi means "bluecloudtchi")

Here are a few others.

  • Mimitchi - eartchi
  • Hinotamatchi - fireballtchi
  • Togetchi - spiketchi
  • Himetchi - princesstchi
  • Kuchipatchi - mouthpatchi
  • Mametchi - diligenttchi
  • Shimashimatchi - stripetchi
