HELP please!

hello! im new to this forum.

i wanted to ask a question - my uncle found a new tamagotchi in its box, its working and everything! i would really like to know what kind is it? it looks really old, and i dont even know if its original.

That's a fake tamagotchi.

Remember, the original TMGCs only have 3 buttons. You can visit the Tamagotchi Warnings forum for information on fakes.

Here's some useful tips;

Some Tamagotchis do not even classify as a fake. Fake Tamagotchis are not real. They are fake if:

• They are called Tamagotchi when they are not actually a Tamagotchi (they should not be called a tamagotchi anyway, as the word is trademarked)
• They copy BanDai's tamagotchi design (on the egg/shell)
• Have simular characters as the real Tamagotchis
• Try to copy BanDai's icons
• etc..

They are not fake if (and they are not a Tamagotchi, they are a Virtual Pet):

• They do not look like a Tamagotchi
• Not the same concept (ie: Not a creature from a planet)
• No way do they copy the development of a Tamagotchi (ie: If the Virtual Pet is a dog)
• etc..

yes its fake but its amazingly fun lol.. I had this fake tama and its great! it is a vintage fake so it is worth a little money and since its in package youll get more for it ^.^

its actually not worth any money. they go for $7 on ebay..

I doubt it's a vintage fake, as it's got "Tamagotchi Connection" stamped on it, and those are the 2004 and onwards series. With that said, some fakes are actually pretty neat. I don't have personal experience with this particular one, but I wouldn't write it off w/o giving it a go.
