I was watching some YouTube videos about the TamaWalkie and apparently it has a screen saver. I was wondering, if its on screensaver mode, can you still walk with it and will the steps still count? (If you know what I mean)

Yes, all steps you take will count. I did some walking with it and ten minutes later the steps went up by 200 or 300. I don't know how fast and accurate the steps are, however.

 
Yes, there is a screensaver. The screen shuts off to save power. It'll still count your steps and notify you when you come across anything. It can still beep and everything.

*Please note that there is no clock on the Tamawalkie, which is a huge reason why the battery lasts so long.*
