I just bought a Nano Dino!

Yay!!!!!

Bit more than I had wanted to spend, but ive been wanting one for such a long time, i decided to go for it! Im paying tomorrow when i get paid... then, it will be in the mail. yay!

The arrival of this will complete my first generation Nano collection!

Hooray! They are one of the rarest Nano Pets, right?

If you don't mind me asking, how much was it? I saw a few on eBay and they were all quite pricy.

It actually ended up being about $50, but the shipping was free so, had to take that up! $50 is alot for me to spend but, I've been wanting one for a long time now.

cant wait for it!!! The only thing that will be annoying that i can tell from the youtube videos about it is the menu animation. But, it wont stop me from using it! lol

Starting to get nervous now... still havent gotten it and its only a parcel within canada..... no customs to deal with.

Already did, theyre just as confused as i am about it.

i dont know what to do if i dont get it... ive never had to go after anything like that before... things have just always come on time... but i think i have 4 weeks to file anyhting... so maybe ill give it next week and go from there.

frusterating though, even though i could get my money back... id rather have the item! its rare!

Unfortunately no. Gonna start a case tonight. May go Check out the post office for kicks but I'm highly doubtful it's there.

I don't know why th regular mail would randomly take 4+ weeks either, especially local mail. So, at this point I'm really not expecting it, and if it does come it's a pleasant surprise...

Okay, I actually have an update!

I got a message from the seller today that the package got delivered..... back to her house. Why it took this long, I dont know.

But, she went down to the post office to enquire, and it didnt make sense to them either, why it was not delivered to me. But, she said shes from a smaller area of town and knows the ladies there really well (for work and such), and they waited a few minutes to put the package on the truck today.

So if all is correct it should be on its way to me, actually, this time.

Im going to leave the dispute open for now, but I did tell the seller to ignore it for now and that id give it a couple more weeks. Theres a holiday coming up on monday so, hopefully it will arrive the latest the week of the 18th. I have until the 28th (my birthday, ironically lol) to either cancel the dispute or take it one step further to a paypal claim. So if it still doesnt arrive I have options.

But, all hope is not lost!

With their 100% feedback I really cant see why they would start lying/not shipping items now (there was a couple hundred positve reviews for them in the last year). So, im gonna give it a bit longer. But at the same time by leaving the case open they will know that I wont be ripped off either. Im willing to be understanding, and take her at her word for that situation. But i told her that when it does arrive i would cancel it.

Which, i hope it DOES arrive, and soon!

Wow, strange story, but to be honest, I did have allmost exactly this experience once, so I hope all is well now for you.

In your case did you still end up getting your item? Or were you on the senders end?

No, I was the buyer, and had allready got a refund. I didn't believe the seller, but when the package came in after 6 weeks, I could see by the stickers that it had indeed been sent before, just as the seller told me.

Needless to say I payed for it again.

is it a good move tho to keep the case open til i get it? i think if i cancelled it i wouldnt be able to reopen it, should another issue come up.

Well, its been 4 business days since the "restart" of shipping and still nothing.

im beginning to get very glad that I left the case open. I dont think i can reopen once i cancel.

4 days to go the distance of 3 driving hours sounds like enough time and then some, especially if it was on the truck when she said it was!

im willing to give it another week as the case has to be settled (or raised into a claim) by the 28th. but still... really dont think i will ever see it at this point.

That is such a bummer. Hope you get it. I would be asking for an address to claw someone's eyes out... *cough* I mean, I would be asking for the address to go pick it up.
