OCEAN HELP! Water won't go clean!

So I had just recently tended to the needs of my Japanese Tamagotchi Ocean when I heard it beep for attention; when I looked at the screen, it was all black with the bubbles floating around. I checked how dirty the water was under the stats but it said it was completely clean. Still, I flushed with the toilet icon...and the water stayed dirty! I kept flushing but it wouldn't go back to normal; sometimes it did for a few seconds but I don't know what to do! Is this normal? Please help me solve this issue ASAP as I have now paused my Umino.

Try turning on the lights

Because tamagotchi ocean is lighted by the sun, you need to turn on the lights when the sun goes down.

That tends to happen at 7PM. If you leave it, the lights will turn back on before your Tamagotchi wakes up!
