I've got one in mind, but this topic could go without it for a little while :)

Thought this topic was a good idea, so hhhhhere you go with the rules and stuff.

Rules:

  1. no wacked-out words (nothing you wouldn't want your mom seeing) or anything ridiculously flamboyant
  2. must give all or most meanings/connotations (positive or negative)
  3. describe origin of word, if applicable
  4. must be for the English language
  5. anything else I didn't mention is open for interpretation

Compound words are acceptable, but try to be original.

A word you create does not have to be super-serious in the sense that you don't have to support it as a word. For example, if I wrote up and clearly defined a word for, say, a story of mine (maybe where a character coins the term themselves in-story), that would be fine. Don't have to go around treating it as if it were a real word. But, in the end, language is what you make it, so it's fine if you choose to do so.

Ooh, now to work on presenting mine... I've got the whole shebang planned, huehuehueh

Puxikos

Meaning a plastic box.

I mean, we could always say "plastic box" and "cardboard box" and "wooden box" but since puxikos are most common, in my house anyway, I think there should be a specific word for them.

Word has Greek origins.

Box - from Greek Puxis

Plastic - from Greek Plastikos

Weird word, I know, but I'm bored and can't think of anything more creative.

And no, I didn't come up with this because the starter of this topic is named Box. owo;

Moew.

That's when you feel cowish.

Ex: "Hey how are you?" "I'm feeling moew." "Great then!"

Simm

(Adjective)

1. Used to describe something that is inescapable, and becomes all that you can think about; particularly a person, song, film, etc.

i.e. "Have you heard about Tamagotchi Friends? It's so simm!"

(Acronym for Stuck In My Mind)

fove

food + love

fove means the love for food

so "i fove!!" would mean "i love food!"

yes yes, i know, I LIKE FOOD A LOT. so then again: i fove!!

"Tembus"

Used to describe appalling weather in particular.

e.g:

"The weather is so tembus today.."

"In New York it's tembus and a huge storm is expected to come."

Derived from the Latin word 'tempestatibus' meaning 'bad weather.'
