Lovely Kitty

Hi! I got a Lovely Kitty in the past from tbay, and i unfortunately dont know how to use it... Two buttons seem broken, it will not let me set the hour or confirm the time... I dont know what to do, but the person i bought it from said nothing was wrong but im not so sure because after i bought it thy disappeared and have been offline... Since September 14th. So if anybody could help i would greatly appreciate it! The escape button works as it lets me switch between screens, and the minute button works. The other two dont seem to work, but you guys are my last hope for this lil guy!!!

Its possible in the mailing process it got moved around pretty well. Hopefully someone has one and can teach you. If you haven't messaged them about it, make sure you do so. They might pop in and see the message. They could just be busy with life and they haven't visited yet.

I messaged them a couple of times but i haven't had a response since before it arrived.. :/

Did you buy it used? Did you open it to see if it needs cleaning? (under the buttons?)

Yeah, when i got it it was used, and i used a qtip wih nothing on it where the buttons are on the circuit board, but it still doesn't seem to work... :?

I usually use a straight needle and a qtip without the cotton to clean used tamas/other pets. (depending on the looks, usually a qtip) is there discoloration? (white, greenish, yellows are most common to what I find) if I find those, I rub them off gentally. Are the inner buttons inside the buttons at don't work? (those can easily fall out as they are just placed)

Check for the button pegs too. Just as a tama would have.

Its not one of those funny ones you hold down a button to get info to change is it? Even dumber question, not a touch screen...? (just asking, doubt it)

Haha its okay its not a touch screen and you don't new to hold buttons down... But I didn't check the pegs xD maybe thats it..? I will clean it and see

Ya, when they aren't very visable... They can be missed. I thought I found a reset button one day and it was a peg for a button. Hopefully that ends up being the issue. You can probably pirate/barrow some from another digital pet for the duration of play.
