It was my first tama/vpet ever, I got it back in 2009 in a small shop. I think it was only called ''Virtual Pet'' but I lost instructions years ago...
You can't pause neither mute it (beeps loudly...).
You can choose your language (between french, english, spanish, portugese and netherland) and choose a 5 letters max name for the pet.
If my memories are accurate there are only 4 characters: one for baby, one for child, one for teen and one for adult.
It still works but I never run it anymore since it's boring haha ~
