While riding in the back of the cop vehicle, I took the time to contemplate.

'This is just some strange dream made up by my mind and media. Bravo subconscious,' I thought to myself.

There was silence in the car until the cop spoke, "So, where are you from, miss?". I was about to blurt out my address but refrained myself. I didn't think it would have helped. Where I'm from don't have talking signs.

All I said was, "A small city on the eastern coast". The cop thought for a moment.

"Hmmm. Could you be more specific, by chance?" he pondered.

"Uhh from America...oops," It slipped.

The cop grew silent for a moment and questioned, "Isn't that from the Blue Planet?!".

"Blue planet?" I asked nervously.

"Earth," he stated.

"Yes?..." I was getting really nervous.

"Oh Great Gotchi! Good thing we're heading to the professors house!" he exclaimed.

As we turned the corner, I noticed what looked like shops. They were all cutesy and very colorful.

"We're almost there, young miss. I'm sure he wont mind it being so late," the cop announced. All the lights were off as we pulled into the driveway. Their house was odd. The cop got out and came to my door and opened it.

"This is the professors house," he motioned. I stepped out of the car and stared at the house. It looked like the house itself was sleeping. The cop cleared his throat and motioned me to follow as he walked towards the front door. I scurried behind him as we approached.

"I hope we don't disturb the kids to much..." the officer whispered as he rung the doorbell. It was silent and dark for a good minute and a half as we waited outside. Then the outside light flicked on and the door opened.

"Hello?" the homeowner yawned out, "What brings you here so late, officer?". He was dressed in sleepwear and belted out another yawn.

The cop stepped forth and explained, "This young miss was causing quite a disturbance. Running thru the streets, screaming..." I shied away. The professor cocked his head in wait for more information.

"Well upon questioning: she appears to be lost," He continued then went closer to the professor and whispered into his ear, "she says she's from the Blue Planet."

"Are you sure?!" the professor quietly asked quickly.

"The place she mentioned doesn't exist on this planet..." the two continued to whisper while I stood awkwardly before them.

"Well, it's decided. You may stay here for the night. In the morning I'll try to help you as much as I can," the professor broke the silence. I just blinked stupidly up at him. He was tall. How was I shorter than a Tamagotchi? I'm over five feet tall, I should loom over everything in this dream.

"She's probably tired," the cop chimed in. I unintentionally yawned on queue.

The professor chuckled and said, "Come on inside. You can rest for the night." I rubbed my eyes and nodded. I walked toward the lab-coated Tamagotchi.

"If you need any further assistance, contact me. I'll be glad to help," the cop said while walking towards his car.

"Will do, officer," the professor called out as the cop got in his car and drove off waving. I was then lead inside. It was warm. I was offered a couch and quickly fell fast asleep.

I was stirred awake by a little voice, "It's not time for sleep. It's morning. Wake up!". Small hands pushed against me as I slowly opened my eyes. A small pink hatted Tamagotchi stood directly in front of my face.

"Chamametchi, she had a long night. Let her rest," a voice came from beyond my view.

"Nighttime is for rest. Right now it's breakfast time!" Chamametchi protested. I sat up to the smiling Tamagotchi. I was silent in thought for a moment. Confused as to how I could still be dreaming this long and be still about Tamagotchi. My dreams never are this consistent. My thoughts were broken when I felt Chamametchi jump upon the couch to face me better.

"Where is your hat?" she asked confused. I sat there with a blank look questioning her question.

"Did you lose it?" she kept questioning.

"...I think so," I answered just going along with it.

She looked sympathetic and added, "That's ok. I'm sure big brother will let you borrow one of his!". I just smiled awkwardly at her and nodded.

"Breakfast is almost done!" the voice from earlier called out. Chamametchi hopped off the couch.

"Chamametchi?..." I asked weakly. She turned around to face me and smiled.

"Yess?" she answered eagerly.

"Uhm. May I ask where your bathroom is?" I really needed a mirror. I need to figure out why I feel so stubby.

Chamametchi nodded and grabbed my hand, "It's this way!". She lead me down the hallway to an open doorway.

"Right here!" she stated happily.

"Thank you," I said while heading in.

"I'm going to breakfast. Meet us in the kitchen when you're done!" she ran off.

I closed the door and examined the restroom. Not exactly a typical restroom I was used to. I did happen to spot a mirror hanging over the sink. As I walked forth, what I saw was not expected at all. My flesh was as orange as a carrot. My hair was reduced to a small tuft of fur. On top of my head on both sides of that pathetic tuft was two cat-like ears. I touched my face, trying to rub off what is apparently permanent blush marks.

"Huh?!" I exclaimed when I noticed my hands. They were only orange stubs. I took a long look into the mirror. I was not human anymore. The only thing I recognized about myself were the glasses that adorned my face. I turned around and peered my head over my shoulder. I was so short and stubby.

'What's this?' I questioned myself as I noticed something big and fluffy that seemed to be attached to me somehow. It was a tail! I fondled with the fluffiness of my fox-like tail. Something was hard and stuck inside the fur. Fumbling with the fur, I managed to take out the object. It was my Tamagotchi ID-L! Finally something else somewhat familiar. It didn't look the same though. I was able to turn it on, but it was empty. The Tamagotchi I was taking care of was completely gone. All the functions seemed to have changed too. A screen popped up with names listed in order of alphabet. I recognized it as my cell phone's contact list. I also noticed that there was a slot on the face of the ID-L. It was like my ID-L morphed with my cell phone and Tamagotchi P's. I placed it down and stared into the mirror. I really could use a hat. My head looked to big and odd. That little tuft of hair was bugging me too. This was definitely a vivid dream.

I took my glasses off and washed my face. The water felt so real. ...All too real. I examined my hands again. Those little stubs... With them I attempted to pinch myself.

"Aoow!" I, in fact managed to pinch. I stood there confused. Pain? In a dream. That would usually wake me up from a dream. Could this not be a dream? I pinched myself again. Yup, pain.

This was real.
