Tama-go VS Tamagotchi Friends

So, under my opinion Tama-go, is too bulky comparing to the new Tamagotchi friends which looks like an improoved tama-go... but which is better?

I pose this question to my self by the time I saw tamagotchi Friends. It's so cute, and I liked it, but before that, I soooo wanted to buy a tama-go...

hmm... Unfortunately the choise must be one, so I leave it to you Tama-Talkers...

well as much as i enjoy the tama-go i am enjoying the tamagotchi friends WAY more...besides waiting for the dream town to open this tamagotchi is adorable and perfect <3 the characters are all really cute, and the graphics are good.literally the only complaint that i have is that i wish they aluminated the screen by light or something because it can get hard to see at times in certain settings...but ill be fixing my own problem as soon as my glow in the dark tape arrives ^.^ lol

I like them both! Without figures, Tamagotchi Friends is better, but with figures, Tama-Go is better.

I do agree that Tama Go with figures is better, but without Tamagotchi Friends is better- the character design i good. Though the lack of interior shop is a bit of a bummer.

I don't have a Tama-Go to compare with =x=. From what I've heard about Tama-Go's though the Friends is better.

The characters are waay cuter on the Friends and the games seem more fun.

I think that so far the Tama Friends is better, purely because the characters are so much cuter and it's much less bulky. With all the figures, the Tama Go was great but it wasn't practical to have 12 figures around all the time. Hopefully the new website will make the Tama Friends even better!

Not too pricy I guess, it's the lowest I could find. It's more expensive than Tama-go, but I think it's worth it! Besides, soon the new dream town will open!

Someone left a bad review on it already.

I haven't tried the TF, but I was okay with the TG. I prefer the colors, but the TG was good in it's own way, pending you have the figures.

Probably someone that has no idea about tamas!

They always have that size of screen, and is larger than vintage tamas!!!

Exactly, they have no idea about Tamas. We are all completely biased here, because we know what to be used to. They don't. On amazon there is ONE positive review, and they hadn';t actually bought it.

The target market for it (young girls) don't like it. That is a HUGE problem. All media that isn't by tama-fans I've seen has been parents being negative about the screen, saying their kids can't see it. This release can't do well by about 50 tamagotchi fans buying them, the target market need to buy them.

Well the thing is, this is just Amazon. Not everyone will log onto Amazon to leave reviews if they bought it elsewhere, or if they DID buy it on Amazon, majority don't review. We're only seeing a tiny fraction of the consumers. Granted it's not what one wants to see, but I'm sure there are many happy children/adults out there who own one.

As a general rule people only leave reviews if they really like something or really hate something. If Tama Friends was terrible the site would be flooded with bad reviews not just a few. At any rate I've learned not to pay much attention to reviews. People have different tastes. I could love something someone else hates and vice versa.
