nope no joke lol, they do this often, the bids will go up haha trust me but on average you can get one of these with these auctions for under $40..im actually planning on bidding on one cause they have one of every color up right now ^.^ good luck on the bidding ^.^

 
It always makes me laugh when people freak out about a low price and then realize it's an auction... Seriously, if it doesn't say "buy it now", it's not a final price.

They probably either know the popularity of the tama and they know that there will be bidding wars or they set up the "minimal price" which we can't see.
