My V3 keeps showing the low battery image when the battery is completely fine. Hitting reset will fix it for another few hours, and I don't really mind having to do that, but it's not ideal. xD I've read other topics about not using cheap batteries or some of them draining batteries too fast, but this isn't the case for mine. It wasn't a cheap one, and I've checked the battery using a meter, and even left it in my V2 for several hours, and my V2 has no problem with it. Is my V3 really picky or just weird? I bought it used somewhat recently and this is the first time I've started it up other than to see if it works.

Is it connected to the battery well and are the contacts clean? Use a qtip dipped in alcohol and rub the contacts, then wipe with the dry end to soak up the dampness, then let air dry a bit just to be sure. See if that helps at all.

Yep, I had already cleaned it up after it started happening, but it didn't help, unfortunately.

My V3 did make it through the night, though. Hopefully it'll keep behaving.

It may be something with the battery reader. I don't know much, but when a battery isn't working for me I usually reset, take the battery out, put it back in, and download. That probably won't work in your case, so if not try cleaning the battery reader with rubbing alcohol.

this happened to my ID Le too! but it drains up the in one night and they arent cheap batterys:(

my v3 does the same thing! but when it does that and i leave it in when the no battery sign is up that freezes and then it does random glitchy things! i just reset it, but today it glitched and showed a picture of this random tamagotchi! so i finally decide to post to figure out how to fix it and i get scared when things glitch out especially tamagotchi's because of all the wierd things that happen when it glitches. it also makes a very quiet buzzing noise all the time. please help!

if so, then it means your batteries died, you have to put in new ones, and choose the upper option after putting in the batteries, because two option will appear. the lower one is "reset" and resets your id l, and the upper one is "download" and you will continue from where your tamagotchi last saved (it saves at events, such as waking up, etc...)

as for your problem, celestea, check if the batteries make contact, and maybe shake the tamagotchi to hear if there's something stuck inside of the tamagotchi

The V3 doesn't have that picture. I think the picture for a V3 is only the battery with an X through it if I remember correctly.

Also the buzzing? If it's a beep you hear repeating, that's normal and said to be the 'heartbeat' of the Tama.
