So I'm testing out a new morino I got. for about 22 USD. Anyone know really the best way to take care of it X3 I've been trying and it keeps dying on me :L

I got mine yesterday and I started it right away. I've heard they're rather easy to maintain. Did you manage to defend it from getting stepped on?

heres a wonderful guide that i follow ^.^

I too need some help here. The information I can find online is very confusing.

So far how I understand it's like this:

- Keep him fat (I can only feed mine leaves now so I don't know how that would work)

- Keep the temperature high or low in cocoon stage

That last part is the tricky bit; some people say that certain temperatures can cause death in the cocoon stage, while other people suggest to keep the temperature super high or super low and yet others say to keep it in the middle...

What's true? Should I keep it in the middle? Is it a good thing to have him gain lots of weight?

Yes, you have to get him fat, that's a good thing. After a few days, you will be able to feed him other food / candy. (I don't know exactly how long it takes, it's been a while since I did run my Morino) In the cocoon stage I choose warm or cold, but I do not set the temperature super high or super low, but I also don't keep it in the middle.

Keeping the temperature at a consistent level can affect which character you will achieve (online guides are good for this).

Periodically check on the temperature level, using A and B to adjust. An arrow pointing towards C indicates that you are cooling it down, and vice versa for H.

Edit: typing error

I feel the guides are unclear about the temperature. Some say to keep it a little above the middle and then a few hours later, a little BELOW the middle. It's confusing to me.
