So I have my toddler and my teen play with the test-tube, but it always blows up. Leaving my poor Hanikamitchi crying.

Does the test tube ever produce anything other than a bang and a crying Tama?

 
It will make a lot of flowers. It will only do this if the character uses it as a happy symbol.
