Battery cover becomes loose over time, or better battery cover on P's?

I just got my P's in the mail today :D

I noticed that the battery door on it is really tight and doesn't move around at all, unlike my IDL's which can slide around a tiny bit. It's not much but it does get annoying. I can't remember how the battery cover on my IDL was when I first got it. Do you think the battery doors become looser the more you take it off/put it on, or is the latch different on the P'?

 
I think it has something to do with how the door is opened or maybe shipment. All of my colors are a little different. My p's, iDL and 15th is nice and snug. Where my iDs have one snug as the other is a bit wiggly. My color is fine...

You might be able to get away with an edge covered with tape, thicker tape. Such as art tape or duct tape. The trick is getting it to stay under the shell cover because that can be annouuying as well.
