Hi all, Im new to this forum and i just bought a Tamagotchi IDL Princess Spacy ver...I inputted the battery and the tamagotchi keep beeping non-stop and when i tried pressing the reset button, the clock setting doesnt appear.. anyone experience this before?

 
Did you make sure you're using brand new name brand batteries and that the contacts are clean?

 
Im using the batteries provided in the box. does not seem to be working. Getting a new batteries later and try it out. not sure what's the fault though..

 
just changed a new batteries. same situation. tamagotchi kept beeping right after i insert the batteries..

 
I can't remember if it's supposed to beep or if it plays a tune, I don't have that version. Does it continue with a beep and the screen frozen? Is the screen blank or anything show up?

 
thanks for the many reply. The screen totally is black. nothing came out. I suppose my this version is similar to IDL ver., it supposed to play a tune right after i insert the batteries. Had video the situation. still figuring how do i post it here

 
Yeeeeeah i think its safe to say its dead. Probably was dropped or something. I think someone else had this problem with a regular IDL before, too, and it couldn't be fixed. I'm sorry. :(

 
Oh dear... Was so excited when i got it today :( .. Am contacting the person who sell me and see if i can get it replace.. So sadd. It really ruined my mood the the entire day :(

Anyway thanks a lot for replying me! Am considering a Tamagotchi P's... Should i invest in one? Hmmmm :p

I can imagine your disappointment, I would feel really bad too.

If you like the iDL you'll probably want the P's too. I know I did. I ordered the P's two weeks ago after I got the iDL and I can't wait for it to arrive!

Hope you can get the seller to give you a refund or a replacement for your iDL.

 
If they say to keep the bad one and send you a new one, you could always sell the bad one for parts, or keep it for parts. Some people want/need parts from non-working pets.

 
Thanks all and sorry for the double post! They say they send me a new piece. Hope it will be working fine! Have to wait for a week or so for it to come.. Now that im looking forward to it.. :p
