Which Version of Tamagotchi are these?

I am so sorry if this thread is in the wrong place, hopefully someone can help me out here though.

These are the first two Tamagotchis I every owned, and I don't know how to tell what versions they are.



If anyone could tell me what versions they are, that would be awesome. But I would also like to know how people tell, is there a way to know what versions they are?

They're both V1's. I have the blue shell design one and I've seen the red shell design a few times

Looking at the games help. The fun part is knowing they are either a v1 or v2... I think the babies are different so that would be a quick tell too.

Those two tamas are version 1

I have that red version - see my profile - there's a photo of my collection shown there - my red + white arrows is a V2 not a V1

As others have mentioned, fastest way to check is to put in a battery and start em up.

Check the menus - V1s have two games to play called Jump and Dance. If your games menu lists those two games you have a V1, if not, you have a V2
